Kant was born and raised in Oakland, CA. He studied political science at San Francisco State University. In his senior year, he interned at the Thomas J. Cahill Hall of Justice and the Civic Center Courthouse before attending Syracuse University College of Law, where he also obtained a J.D. (Juris Doctor). At Syracuse University, he was an associate researcher and special projects consultant for the Innovation Law Center.
Upon graduating from Syracuse University, he returned to Oakland. Following the bar exam, he worked in various practice areas such as immigration, personal injury and wills & trusts.
Kant joined Craddick in 2025. His practice focuses on defending healthcare professionals and entities in court and binding arbitration proceedings.
